Yueran · Sanjianxi is a 6,000㎡ catering project in Chengdu by Liangshe Design. The plan emphasizes a central-axis symmetry—public space centered, private zones flanking—creating a coherent whole. Wood veneer offers an intimate textural feel; stainless steel defines the edging with refinement; translucent Changhong glass enriches the spatial experience through solid-void interplay.
The inspiration draws on tradition: the main hall adopts classical central-axis rules—solemn and complete—while reading contemporary trends through a modern minimalist lens to interpret Eastern aesthetics. Walls clad in LANSEN "Walnut" build a classical, balanced beauty from a single, simple material. Private rooms absorb traditional motifs abstracted into modern language: ink-wash paintings in Eastern tones, refined solid-wood furniture and the elegant "Walnut" finish express a distinct Oriental character. Walnut nearly fills the private-room walls, reading as (minimal), composed and dignified; brown-toned wood flooring contrasts in color yet harmonizes in material, enriching layers while jointly articulating Chinese style. Clean, orderly lines, classical wood grain and a grounded symmetrical layout let every corner reveal the charm of traditional culture through simple Eastern elements.
