Located in Xisanqi, Changping, the 30,000Beijing International Hot Spring Hotel is built on the premise that a comfortable space needs no excessive technique or lavish ornamentthe flexible use of simple wood grain serves people's truest state and reveals spatial warmth and vitality.

 

The journey begins in the locker room: 100% wood veneer, clean and tidy, naturally plain, symmetrically harmoniousits texture instantly puts guests at ease, marking the start of a healing experience. The circular reading area offers open views, plush loungers and abundant books; the massage zone pairs dark and light wood grains for layered depth, helping guests release tension. The lounge wall clad in Ello Oak distinguishes itself from light beige wood through a复古 (vintage), refined textureits dark tone lowers brightness, inviting introspection and calm.

 

Wood grain runs across walls and floors, connecting nearly every space and creating a平和 (peaceful) rhythm. Ello Oak's irregular grain and vintage refinement draw visitors into meditation; its dark tone deepens the atmosphere of the lounge and sleep pod, where the gentle, natural grain bestows a quieting powerguests shed fatigue, embrace tranquility and drift into sleep within a sense of security. With a 100% affinity between wood grain and the hot-spring hotel, the warm, natural material inherently soothes the soul, building up the space's temperature and vitality and serving guests' most relaxed, authentic statea return to the love of simple living.


Material Application Notes

The specification centers on Ello Oak M1046-2, SM-M1050B-2 and SM-17555C-3 on Carbon Fiber and Carbon-Magnesium board substrates, deployed across wall and floor systems throughout the locker room, massage zone, lounge, library and sleep pod.

 

Ello Oak M1046-2 offers a dark grey tone with irregular vertical mountain grainvintage and refinedlowering brightness in lounge and pod walls to create a deep, tranquil healing atmosphere conducive to inner calm. SM-M1050B-2 and SM-17555C-3 provide lighter wood tones that contrast with the dark oak, building a "light-dark interplay" across locker and massage zones. Grey tech-wood finishes contribute clean, natural grain and pure color, adding warm, rustic character.

 

All finishes are output on unified carbon/carbon-magnesium substrates, ensuring stable color and continuous grain across vertical and horizontal surfaces. The substrates provide dimensional stability, moisture resistance and finish durability suited to the high-humidity, high-traffic spa environment. Same-tone external corner strips keep corners and wall-floor transitions tonally unified with invisible seams, maintaining the continuous "wood-grain-throughout" visual.
