Project Overview

Tong Shuxia Pigeon Restaurant is conceived around the principle of "spatial wholeness and harmony." Rather than layering disparate materials, the design establishes a unified tactile基调 so that upon entry guests feel quietly held. Materiality recedes to become background; serenity, warmth, and understated elegance are what remain in the diner's memory.

The material narrative pairs LANSEN COLOR Liviya Micro-cement—with its fine warm off-white to light-grey micro-texture—clad across full-height walls as a continuous, handcrafted-feel backdrop, and Fayar Walnut wood-grain panels whose deep brown tone carries naturally varied grain like ripples or mountain stream traces. The walnut finish is precisely placed on door leaves, accent wall sections, and custom casework, acting as warm, grounding focal points throughout the guest journey. Soft vs. firm, light vs. heavy—the two finishes dialogue in balanced tension.

LANSEN COLOR's system solution enables wall–door–cabinet integrated application. Micro-cement wall cladding sets a uniformly soft, light-diffusing foundation that minimizes visual joints. Fayar Walnut flows from wall wainscot through concealed doors into built-in joinery, ensuring material continuity. Together they produce a "perceptible experience"—a quietly luxurious hospitality interior where material scenography supports slow-paced, high-quality dining.

Material Application

This project uses the LANSEN COLOR decorative surfacing system in two patterns: Liviya Micro-cement and Fayar Walnut (Dark Walnut Wood Grain). Liviya Micro-cement, with warm-toned fine micro-texture, is installed on all perimeter walls to form a seamless, softly light-absorbing background with easy-clean performance. Fayar Walnut, in deep brown with naturally varied light-and-dark grain, clads door leaves, partial wall surfaces, and built-in storage/cabinetry, delivering warm, earthy emotional value at key visual nodes. The "silent background + warm anchor" pairing—executed wall–door–cabinet-wide without breaks—constructs a serene, cohesive, materially refined interior suited to premium slow-dining venues.
