The No.79 Fishing Boat Seafood Restaurant Pingshan branch is a three-story dining establishment comprising a reception and waiting area on the 1st floor, a live seafood market & ordering area (A.Q. Hall) on the 2nd floor, and private dining rooms (No.7901–7999) on the 3rd floor. The interior blends simplified modern lines with subtle Oriental aesthetics, creating a spatial sequence that transitions from open, convivial dining zones to intimate, quiet private rooms.
The design pairs warm wood-tone surfaces with cool stone textures—light beige oak-grain cladding lines the entrance corridor with soft cove lighting to set a calm prelude, while travertine-look panels are introduced in high-traffic public zones for visual contrast and composure. This "one soft, one hard; one light, one heavy" material strategy defines the layered atmosphere throughout the venue.
LANSEN COLOR decorative wall panels in Mingela Oak and Malaga Travertine patterns are installed on corridor walls, public area feature walls, and private room accent walls. The oak finish delivers uniform color across large surface areas, avoiding the batch variation typical of natural veneer, while the travertine-look panel offers the appearance of natural stone with enhanced durability and ease of maintenance—ensuring both aesthetic quality and long-term performance in a high-use commercial dining environment.
This project utilizes LANSEN COLOR decorative wall cladding system with two key surface patterns: Mingela Oak and Malaga Travertine. Mingela Oak features fine, light-beige wood grain that brings warmth and approachability to entrance corridors and circulation spaces. Malaga Travertine replicates the look of natural travertine stone, providing a composed, substantial feel suited to high-traffic public areas. Both patterns are applied to corridor and room wall surfaces, addressing common pain points of color inconsistency in wood veneer and the fragility of natural stone, thereby delivering a refined, low-maintenance interior finish for commercial hospitality use.
