Project Overview

Ronghua Season is a high-end Chinese restaurant whose spatial philosophy—"splendid yet composed, hidden yet present"—rejects immediate visual spectacle in favor of quiet Eastern introspection. Modernist clean lines are tempered by a sense of restrained warmth; the sequence moves from a guided corridor experience into enclosed private dining rooms, designed to slow the perception of time and open the senses.

The material narrative pairs "the depth of walnut" with "the softness of fabric." LANSEN COLOR Walnut wood-grain panels, with layered grain resembling a frozen river of time, clad corridor side walls and private room feature walls, establishing a serene, enduring tonal foundation under controlled lighting. Light beige Fabric-texture panels, mimicking sun-filtered warm white and cashmere tactility, soften architectural edges and create a "soft island" for psychological rest within the dining enclosure.

LANSEN COLOR decorative wall panels are installed along corridors and throughout private dining rooms. The Walnut finish acts as the spatial "skeleton and background," anchoring the modern geometric rhythm of flooring and furnishings. The Fabric-texture finish gently encloses the room, contrasting yet harmonizing with the wood's gravity. Together they produce a perceptible "atmospheric tactility"—balancing ceremonial grandeur with personal ease in a commercial hospitality setting.

Material Application

This project uses the LANSEN COLOR decorative surfacing system in two finishes: Walnut wood-grain and Light Beige Fabric Texture. The Walnut pattern, in deep brown-black with rich natural grain variation, is applied across corridor and private room walls to set a composed, timeless dining基调. The Fabric-texture pattern, with warm woven-surface tactility, is used on partial enclosure surfaces within private rooms to offset the visual weight of the wood and soften spatial boundaries. The "one firm, one soft; one heavy, one light" material pairing delivers both the ceremonial presence expected of fine dining and the emotional comfort of an intimate gathering space—a signature LANSEN COLOR "Wood + Fabric" scenographic material solution.
