Long Bai Wan is a Chinese dining space project located in Beijing with a 1,000㎡ floor area. Anchored by the concept "wood scent in air, landscape entering the feast," the interior fuses the warmth of natural wood grain with the ethereal quality of Eastern landscape, building an immersive dining place that can be viewed, wandered and banqueted in — turning gatherings into a poetic retreat from noise.
The space is grounded in a light-to-dark brown wood gradient: Water Grain Shadow Wood's delicate texture hides flowing rhythm under lighting; on deep brown ground appears the pattern of water flowing over woods. This interacts with low-saturation seats, metal strips, leather upholstery and marble flooring in a material dialogue. Wood warmth, leather softness, metal coolness and stone firmness reach balance through contrast. Vertical wall washers and focused downlights play light-and-shadow gradation across wood surfaces, producing an overall restrained, ethereal, private-yet-warm Oriental field.
LANSEN Water Grain Shadow Wood M1128-5 is applied to wall cladding and customized commercial fittings (cabinets etc.) on ML1 substrate, continuously spreading through lobby, private rooms and booth partitions. The pattern abstracts water ripple into shadow-wood grain, its light-dark brown gradient acting like earth veins, carrying the unified "wood-color landscape" language across large private rooms and intimate seats alike, so the 1,000㎡ restaurant gains wholeness within wood enclosure without the ornate stacking of conventional Chinese dining interiors.
The project adopts LANSEN ML Series – ML1 substrate with Water Grain Shadow Wood M1128-5 finish, applied to wall panels and commercial fittings. This self-developed LANSEN wood pattern weaves abstract water ripple into shadow-wood grain — light water veins floating over deep brown ground, delicate and rhythmic (note: actual color may shift slightly under ambient light). Large-surface wall cladding is primary, with the same finish extending to customized cabinets. Alongside leather, metal and marble, the material contrast finds equilibrium, delivering a stable, introverted and breathable Chinese-restaurant wood interior effect.
