Project Overview

Set in Beijing, YI TIAO LONG reconstructs a Beijing-culture dining scene amid the rising heat of century-old copper hot pots. Imperial glaze dragon patterns and copper hot-pot totems merge with contemporary spatial grammar, turning material itself into a medium that carries civilization.

A green grid coffered ceiling with gold-orange dragon motifs anchors the visual narrative; deep-green lattice doors and painted eaves establish the dual "palace–street" context. Deep walnut grain reads like time incised, its vertical veins creating a "symbiotic rhythm of wood and light" under warm illumination. Art paint offers a light-beige ground with naturally flowing white and grey brush strokes, lending breathable texture and quiet warmth. Glaze dragon artworks float above the walnut cladding, articulating an Eastern aesthetics of "measured reveal and concealment."

Precision curved-arc craftsmanship follows walnut surfaces, dissolving right-angle tension to grant the space a dragon-like fluid trajectory—"bone of firmness, soul of softness" in modern interpretation. Integrated wall-door-cabinetry dissolves functional borders; walnut's steady grain weaves a boundary-free contemporary Chinese scroll. Unified finish and texture control ensure visual continuity while meeting F&B demands for durability, cleanability and operational convenience.

Material Application

The specification centers on Art Paint G6036-1 and Walnut M1071-11 on the ML Series (ML1) substrate across walls, doors and bespoke millwork.

Art Paint G6036-1 presents a light-beige base with white and light-grey veins flowing like brush strokes, creating rich micro-light/shadow and visual rhythm that give walls a quiet, embracing warmth. Walnut M1071-11 offers deep brown vertical grain, delivering grounded luxury and tactile warmth under warm light. Both finishes are delivered through integrated wall-door-cabinetry, remaining continuous across vertical planes, door leaves and functional millwork.

Precision curved-arc panel work lets walnut surfaces wrap fluidly, softening hard corners and echoing the dragon motif's motion to reinforce the "firm bone, soft soul" narrative. The materials provide dimensional stability and finish durability suited to the high-frequency use, grease wiping and daily upkeep of a hot-pot restaurant, supporting YI TIAO LONG's dual expression of Beijing heritage and contemporary experience through a material language of "heritage reborn" and "time interwoven."
