Location: Parc Central, Tianhe District, Guangzhou
Decor Used: M1034-1
"Yum cha and eat a bun" (饮啖茶,食个包) is a cornerstone of Cantonese dining culture. The attitude expressed through this heritage lifestyle is a profound subject of modern reflection.
Each HEYTEA LAB store is themed according to local characteristics. The Guangzhou LAB store draws inspiration from the "Teahouse" (Cha Lau) beloved by locals. In the "A-XI Tea House" project, LANSEN’s Congo Walnut was selected; its stylish yet retro aesthetic perfectly aligns with HEYTEA’s cutting-edge brand philosophy.
LANSEN’s Congo Walnut from the Wood Grain Series is extensively used across the staircases from the first to the second floor. The smooth, rhythmic flow of the wood grain outlines an exceptionally vivid and dynamic space. Its rich, eclectic textures extend naturally, echoing HEYTEA’s brand proposition of individuality and trend-setting.
Down-to-earth Cantonese elements paired with striking color palettes create an ambiance that is both retro and fashionable. To foster a minimalist atmosphere, LANSEN Congo Walnut was chosen; its elegant, understated wood tones harmonize with the interior, revealing a timeless and spirited beauty.
Congo WalnutThe "HELLO Guangzhou" display features a champagne-gold OLED light wall, brightening the space with a clean, modern feel. The meticulous detailing of the stairs and the choice of materials define the environment—pure white walls highlight the crisp wood grain of the Congo Walnut, establishing a minimalist and natural tone through its raw, primal texture.
Within this tea-drinking space, the designer reconstructs Cantonese culture through modern lenses that resonate with the younger generation. By exploring the possibilities of traditional Lingnan elements in a contemporary context, the spatial design achieves a high degree of synergy with HEYTEA’s brand spirit.
Every HEYTEA store is a redefinition, integrating diverse design styles. The "One Thousand Stores, One Thousand Faces" concept represents the future of retail formats.
