Project Name: Tianjin Rongbaohang BMW Showroom
Location: Binhai New Area, Tianjin
Project Type: Automotive Dealership (4S Showroom)
Area: 3,200 sqm
Design Firm: Chen Xie Design (Work of Chen Yixian)
Substrate: Carbon Fiber Panel
Finish: AL-J9002-1 (Aluminum Skin Metallic Laminate)
Product Category: Wall Panels
Application Areas: Showroom walls (Vehicle display zone, Lounge wood-grain feature walls)
The project is a large-scale BMW dealership showroom totaling 3,200 sqm, serving prospective buyers and after-sales visitors. Anchored by the theme “Fast & Furious,” the design ensures vehicles remain the absolute protagonist, using restrained yet precise material language to construct an immersive brand environment.
The space adopts a “cool–warm” dual-tone zoning strategy. The vehicle display zone employs metallic lines and a high-ceiling volume to create a grand, mechanical atmosphere that maximizes visual impact for the cars on show. In contrast, the lounge shifts to extensive wood-grain cladding, replacing commercial coldness with natural warmth to provide a spacious, comfortable waiting and negotiation environment.
Material application centers on carbon fiber panels as the unified substrate. The display zone walls utilize AL-J9002-1 aluminum skin metallic laminate, reproducing authentic metal texture with a subtle shimmer under showroom lighting—aligning with the industrial identity of the automotive brand. The lounge switches to wood-grain panels extending from walls to floor and floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, creating a cocooning atmosphere. The substrate’s dimensional stability supports large-format flat wall installations, while unified finish control ensures visual continuity across functional zones and meets the durability, cleanability and long-term operational demands of a high-traffic retail space.
The specification is built on LANSEN carbon fiber panels with AL-J9002-1 aluminum skin metallic laminate as the primary wall system finish. As the most reflective product in the range, this aluminum skin laminate accurately reproduces metal texture, delivering a subtle sparkle under accent lighting—an ideal match for the forward-looking, high-tech positioning of the display zone.
The lounge area adopts wood-grain panels across walls, floor extensions and a full-height bookshelf, where the horizontal and vertical grain patterns create a warm, enveloping environment that clearly signals a functional zone shift. Carbon fiber substrate provides low-formaldehyde emission, deformation resistance and modular machinability, enabling flat, large-scale wall coverage and rapid on-site assembly across 3,200 sqm. This supports the long-term finish stability required for high-frequency automotive retail operations while balancing visual quality with operational efficiency.
