Quanjude is a historic Chinese dining project located in Beijing with a 1,700㎡ floor area, with spatial design by Nine Form Design. Positioned under the brief of "contemporary reading of a heritage brand," the interior avoids stacking traditional motifs; instead it relies on the restraint and tactile quality of materials themselves to retell the quiet narrative of Eastern banquet, letting guests find a relaxed dining rhythm between roast-duck aroma and fabric grain.
The space takes neutral light grey as wall ground. Woven Fabric Texture's yarn-relief micro surface reads, under light, as a tactile boundary between rice paper and silk. Brass pendant warm glow, white porcelain sheen, leather seat warmth and black curio-shelf tone fall into the field in order; the fabric wall spreads like plain silk — neither competing with metal nor swallowed by wood. Material composition follows "soft lining hard, grey holding color." Decorative paintings echo wall texture, with restrained blank leaving.
LANSEN Woven Fabric Texture B7041-1 is applied to all walls, with ML1 substrate supporting continuous spread across lobby, private rooms and corridors. The light grey fabric grain reads as a plane from distance and reveals woven breath up close; specially processed micro-relief dissolves the stiffness of large flat surfaces, so the 1,700㎡ heritage space gains joint-free wholeness under one material language, and the wall finish — "tactile fine, visually quiet" — holds both courtly aesthetics and modern restaurant expectations.
The project adopts LANSEN ML Series – ML1 substrate with Woven Fabric Texture B7041-1 finish, applied to wall panels. The finish presents a light grey fabric grain; yarn relief forms micro-embossed texture that reads as elegant grey from afar and reveals woven breath up close, carrying both rice-paper dryness and silk slip-resilience. Used extensively on restaurant walls, it collaborates with brass pendant warm light, leather seats, white porcelain and black curio shelves, balancing spatial warm-cool and ancient-modern tension through a neutral fabric ground. The result is a wall material effect of "plain silk holding ink, daily fire born fragrance" in a heritage restaurant, fit for high-frequency operation and long-term maintenance.
