LANSEN Wood Fiberboard is an affordable, multi-purpose substrate processed from raw timber through chipping, fiber separation, drying, gluing, and hot-pressing. It features maximum dimensions of 2440×1220 mm or 3050×1220 mm. Available sizes include 5/9/12/15/18/25 mm for furniture, 8/12 mm for wall panels, and 12 mm for flooring. It has a density of 760–820 kg/m³ (wall panels/flooring) and 680–720 kg/m³ (furniture), carries an E1 formaldehyde rating, and maintains a 24-hour water absorption swelling rate of ≤13% (outperforming the national standard of ≤18%), providing reliable moisture resistance.
Its multi-layer structure consists of a wear-resistant layer, an impregnated decorative paper overlay, a high-density core, and a moisture-proof balancing backer. Fully compatible with all LANSEN finishes, it supports tongue-and-groove jointing, CNC machining, and commercial furniture fabrication (back-grooving is required for curved applications). Specially created for budget-sensitive general commercial areas like tea shops and retail outlets, it is the go-to option for short-term projects with a lifespan of under two years, balancing economy and utility.
